To accommodate the visually
impaired and the dyslexic, the iPhone has a feature that reads aloud text that
appears on the screen. If you want to hear a book that you purchased from
Apple's iBookstore, go to Settings > General > Accessibility, and turn on
VoiceOver. The voice sounds like Siri, and you can alter her tempo, pitch, and
other settings.
Once you turn on
VoiceOver, an iPhone can read ebook aloud. (Screenshot)
Unfortunately, this feature
doesn't seem to work with the iOS Kindle app.
