The only
thing louder than iPhone 5 users’ backlash against Apple’s decision to leave it out was the
distant shouts for rescue coming from somewhere in the Australian outback – a location Apple Maps lead a number of
its users to because of a bug in the software.
When
Google Maps was finally allowed on the iPhone 5, it immediately became the No.
1 downloaded app in the App
Store. And for good reason.
