Ever
see a plane in the sky and wonder where it's headed? Siri knows. As the result
of a partnership with Wolfram
Alpha, an online search engine, Siri can identify what planes are nearby (just
remember to first turn on Location Services in the Settings app).
Tell Siri to “ask Wolfram what
flights are overhead."
You
might not be able to get out of the freezing cold and onto a beach, but you can
make believe that you’re on that American
Airlines flight to Honolulu.

a landing at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kan. With the help of Wolfram
Alpha, Siri can identify planes like this Boeing 787 and tell iPhone users
where they are headed. (Travis Heying/AP Photo/The Wichita Eagle)
